world wide madness

things are going from bad to worse... no bad news at all coming out of Limerick although there probably will be a load after this is posted! So rather than everyone thinking nothing is happening, we are proud to report that the lucky tag is still around the city as a lady has won a prize in a Willie Wonka promotion sponsored by Nestle. Real exciting stuff i know - and it is old news but come on- it is August.... Limerick Youth Theatre is courting a bit of controversy it seems by doing a production of Romeo and Juliet but instead of setting it in ~Verona they have moved it to ...yes you guessed it LImerick!! and of course introduced a gang land twist !

Anyway in an effort to fill a few lines, some news now that has nothing to do with Limerick..... Eminem has cancelled his anger management tour and now wont be playing Slane next month. I am sure half the posse from Limerick is gutted and will say something along the lines of "he's only a wanker... and to think we queued for tickets outside Empire Music to see him..he's only a scumbag!!" After seeing some of the people that were in that queue i am wondering who is who!! Anyhow, for those of you who might still care about the real slim shady it appears that the young lad is in Rehab .

Also it appears that Pierce Brosnan has (again) stated that he wont be 007 again and has hung up his licence to thrill or kill or whaterver.. He has some fairly harsh words to say about the Bond franchise here
